***Attention Coaches***

All Coaches (including Assistant Coaches) are required to submit to a criminal background check.

Please fill out the Background Check Consent form completely, the completed form will not "save" to your computer, print form from forms page.  Fax completed form to (303) 632-6346.

CYBSA requires All Coaches to take a concussion training course every year, both for player safety and compliance with Colorado State Law for teams 11 and up. Right below is a link to the CDC training (FREE) Print your completion certificate and fax to: 303-632-6346

The MANDATORY ATTENDANCE Manager's (Head Coach) meeting will take place on Saturday May 6th beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Smoky Hill Public Library. No EXCEPTIONS All Manager's (Head Coach)must attend

Equipment and uniform pick - up will take place on Saturday May 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the "Neighborhood Self Storage" located at 20210 E Smoky Hill Rd. units 2210 and 2211 (front row). Please do not be late as we will be leaving promptly at 3:00. 

*As of 2008 season ALL Coaches are required to be ASEP certified through Babe Ruth, Click here for link, (Includes Assistant Coaches.)  All Managers and Coaches are required by the Babe Ruth-Cal Ripken organization to complete the On-line “Coaching Education and Certification” program designed by Cal and Billy Ripken. The cost of this program is $19.95 for a lifetime certification with valuable information, including: Communication; Safety & Fitness; Rules; Skills & Drills; Team Fundamentals; Planning Strategies and more.  The course can be printed to create your own “coaching notebook”, if desired. Completion of this course is required to coach and therefore required by CYBSA. You can take the on-line course at your own pace but it must be completed prior to first practice.

"Blackout" dates (no play dates)

Team blackout (no play) dates must be submitted by Manager/Head Coach no later than March 31st, requests submitted after March 31st will not be considered. Changes to schedule will occur for weather related cancellations only.

Blackout dates are dates when the coach cannot field a team i.e.: school functions such as 8th grade continuation or musical programs.
